Antique Primitive Kentucky Splint Egg Basket

Here's a wonderful antique splint woven egg gathering basket.  Made in Kentucky, Circa early 1900's
It has been painted with a reddish brown paint. 
There are a few breaks in the weaving that you can see in the pictures but overall it's in good sturdy condition. 
It measures 10 1/2" X 9 1/2" X 9 1/2".  A nice primitive accent piece.
